Post Event Post: MAG:NET High Street would like to thank everyone who attended this event. Now we’ve seen everything.

The birthplace of the Mag:net Cafe concept and the ever-present playground of artistic energy is the vibrant Mag:net Café in Katipunan inviting and challenging the inhabitants of that university suburb and all points North. It has already made a significant impact on the Manila indie music and contemporary arts scene. From this exciting creative engine of art, Mag:net Cafe High Street is now bursting onto the scene to inspire and move the inhabitants of Makati and all points South.

Mag:net Café High Street still has that same artistic vibe. In fact, this new night spot stimulates all our senses. The modern interiors carefully laid out by Ralph Walker to provide the most inviting space while Rock Drilon, Mag:net’s Art Director decks the café with artworks that’ll surely get 2 thumbs-up from both diners and enthusiasts.

And of course, what is Mag:net without Rockeoke? Many have tried (and are still trying) to copy our Rockeoke nights, but imitation is the best form of flattery, after all. What began as an experiment two years ago is now the most sought-after event by everyone from corporations, personalities, celebrities, families, and just about everybody who are free on a Monday night. “Be a rockstar for a night” is Rockeoke’s promise; With everyone bringing their A game onstage, singing their song of choice with awesome Rockeoke bands, The Johnnies and Oven Toaster. Specially after a couple of shots.

Of course, Mag:net High Street is home to the best bands in the country. Big guns like Sandwich, Up Dharma Down, Urbandub, Pupil, Gary V, US indie band +/-, and even Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes to name a few have all enjoyed performing in in Mag:net and are still staple acts specially during weekends. (With the exception of the last two artists, for obvious reasons.) The best productions such as Sonic Boom, Play4Serve, and Terno are all Mag:net regulars as well. The cool kids in the coolest bar.
